Sage Collection
A world of sages | Page under construction | Work in progress
Sages form a universe in their own right, a world teeming with colors, scents and textures. In my collection, more than 200 species and varieties coexist, coming from the four corners of the globe: from the arid lands of Mexico to the South American prairies, from the Himalayan foothills to the Mediterranean scrubland. Each tells a story, a climate, an adaptation. Some display large vaporous spikes, others display dazzling corollas, sometimes velvety, sometimes translucent. They attract butterflies and pollinators, come alive with the seasons and paint a constantly renewed picture.
Observe, experiment, associate… each sage is an invitation to discovery, a link between the gardener and nature. Here, they find their place in large mixed borders, in naturalistic scenes or at the bend of a shaded path. Whether you are looking for the exuberance of a Salvia leucantha, the delicacy of a Salvia patens or the captivating perfume of a Salvia elegans, each species has its own character and its own way of dialoguing with the garden.
Welcome to this plant setting where sage reigns supreme, elusive and fascinating. 🌿

Salvia guaranitica
A true jewel of the garden, Salvia guaranitica displays its deep blue, almost surreal spikes, floating above fragrant foliage. Both graceful and exuberant, this sage native to South America enchants flowerbeds with its generous flowering, which stretches from spring until the first frosts. It attracts butterflies and pollinators, bringing the garden to life with a ceaseless ballet. Hardy in mild climates, it is reborn each year with astonishing vigor, promising a touch of mystery and elegance to any plant space.

Salvia repens 'Texas Form'
Salvia repens 'Texas Form' – A deep blue from the wild plains 💙
Discreet in size but dazzling in color, Salvia repens 'Texas Form' is adorned with a deep blue that seems to capture the essence of the Texan sky. Its delicate flowers, carried by fine and discreet foliage, sway in the wind, bringing a vibrant touch to flowerbeds and rockeries. Drought-resistant and easy-going, it embodies the beauty of arid landscapes, where each flower is a burst of life. A precious sage for naturalist gardens and lovers of intense hues.

Salvia congestiflora
Salvia congestiflora – A botanical rarity with lightning growth 🔴
Native to southern Brazil, Salvia congestiflora is an impressive species that deploys slender stems reaching up to 4 meters in height in one season. Its ample foliage, with large leaves, forms a luxuriant mass, while its spectacular inflorescences elongate into dense spikes, sometimes 50 cm long. Its name evokes this compact arrangement of flowers. Vigorous and suckering, it spreads quickly when it finds favorable conditions, appreciating rich and fresh soils as well as a subdued exposure. Uncommon in cultivation, it deserves to be preserved, because its natural habitat is today threatened.
