The Garden

Clapiéra unfolds through vast mixed borders, real plant mosaics where each plant finds its place to create a balance of colors and textures. These beds are designed to evolve over time, following the natural cycles of the seasons. The diversity of the plants chosen creates a vibrant harmony throughout the year, with successive blooms that surprise and amaze.

At the heart of the garden, a wooded area immerses you in a peaceful atmosphere. Maples, pines and fig trees provide shade and freshness during the summer, creating pleasant microclimates where it is good to relax. A small bamboo grove, discreet but full of charm, adds a touch of exoticism and serenity, bringing the gentle murmur of the wind through its stems.

Clapiéra is also a true sanctuary for sages. Varieties such as Salvia leucantha, Salvia involucrata and Salvia guaranitica thrive here, bringing bright splashes of colour and generous flowering that brightens up the garden. These plants, which I particularly like, are grown in well-drained soil, with a sunny exposure, and are protected during the winter by mulching and light cutting back to protect them from the harshness of the cold.

The garden is also home to perennials and ground cover plants, which enrich the soil and promote biodiversity. Each area of the garden is a place of contemplation and discovery, where nature flourishes in all its diversity.
